The Christmas of my Youth

As another Halloween passes, it's time once again to look forward to the upcoming Holiday parties for the next eight or ten weeks, or however long it is til New Years. I can't wait for all the food, cocktails, and sharing laughs with my friends and family.

Yes, I know I have been neglecting my blog due to, well, a lot of factors. So consider my early childhood Christmas pictures as my gift to you this holiday season. Me. No makeup. No sense of what style is. No shame. Trust. This is going to be epic.

Let's start off with the cute one:

I'm not sure what mall, or even what city (either Houston or San Diego), this is, but my sister and I are so adorable, no?!

The epitome of 80's Style:

Christmas at the Met.

I seriously LOVED that polka dot and striped dress.

Matching, but not:

I can't believe my mom let me do my hair like that.

The year my mom commissioned a seamstress to make our Christmas dresses:

Ugh, those dresses. I can still remember how much that material itched! And totally not fair that my mom didn't have to wear that awful plaid. I mean, if my sister and I match, she should at least make some effort too, ya know.

Ohhhh....but wait.

The ULTIMATE MATCHY CHRISTMAS OUTFITS:

Poufy red shirts with black skirts. More comfortable and early-90's-contemporary than the plaid, but makes for great laughs in the future.

Ohhh, I know I'm going to regret posting these pictures for about a week, but here you go anyway. Can't wait to hear what Ivania has to say about my hair :D
